The LBFG provides a forum of operations for collective procurement, licensing and management of open and vendor-sourced Endorsed Solutions for the membership. Leveraging the economy of scale our membership represents, we source over 100 quality licensed products - databases, downloadable audio, ebooks, enhanced content, and more - at favourable pricing for our membership.

The Cooperative is a member of Consortia Canada - a coalition of Canadian library consortia working together to licence electronic information resources of national interest and relevance.

The Cooperative is the exclusive provider of BiblioCommons in the Province of BC– a catalogue-centric social networking interface that dovetails with a library's integrated library system. It provides the ability to build on-line communities of people with similar interests.
